A resident of Louisville, KY, Michael Rust is currently the President of the Kentucky Hospital Association and President and CEO of Kentucky Hospital Service Corporation. Mr. Rust has over twenty years of experience in the healthcare field. He has an in-depth knowledge of legislative issues, membership advocacy, consensus building, and communication skills. As a result, he reflects the ability to plan and implement the actions necessary to address challenges and opportunities successfully. He is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Kentucky Department of Healthcare Administration; Member of the Advisory Board at the University of Kentucky College of Allied Health; Member of the Advisory Board at Western Kentucky University Department of Healthcare Administration, Member of Board of Directors of Health Kentucky; Member of Board of Directors of Kentucky, Research, and Education Foundation and a Member of the United Way Health Care Task Force.
