Dr. Michael Carter (2002)

Dr. Carter is a DNSc, FNP who was Dean of the School of Nursing at University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) for 18 years. He is well known for his many achievements in the field of nursing education. In his current role as a University Distinguished Professor at UTHSC, Dr. Carter remains actively involved in several College of Nursing courses. He was instrumental in the creation of the Distance Learning DNSC Program at UTHSC.
